Pick ten dream jobs. Doesn't matter how far fetched they are. You have no ties so that helps. Do a little research and write a letter to each with a targeted resume explaining why you want that job and what you bring to the company. What could it hurt and you may get lucky.
I was in the Navy and my commanding officer required all officers who were considering staying in to do this. If they did not get one of their jobs he would sign their recommendation to stay in the Navy. One Lieutenant became a PR guy for a major league baseball team and he would have never thought of applying for that job unless someone made him do it.

I know that $20,000 a year is low on the pay scale, but that shouldn't matter when it comes to the heart, Join a single club, not this on line crap. but a real one, they get together on week-ends and do things as a group, like going to movies, having breakfast together, taking a small trip to the mountains/beach/what ever there is where you live. etc etc, They usually advertise in the newspaper...Maybe go to a coffee shop and get to know the waitresses there and maybe they know of a friend or ? Make yourself available, if you like going to church, try to come out of you shyness, this is if your shy, I mean to say, don't go up to a stranger and ask them out! but just go out of your house and go somewhere where people are.

For one, you got it made! No girl, no kids (i presume), and 24 yrs old is still very young. right now in life u can do whatever ur heart wants u to, college is still open, also u have the freedom to try different avenues. explore life, that's the only way u will discover what u truly like to do and what u true talent is.

i dont know why people keep saying get a better job i make only 12 thousand a year. i would kill for 20 thousand a year

maybe learning some kind of trade at a 2 year college will help you get a better salary and you may find something you won't be bored at.
