In this world called Maya(illusion) practically no one is normal. We are not these bodies, IE; race, color, nationality, religion, intellect, job, etc. Yet everyone is identifying with these things which we are not. We are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Vishnu, Jehovah, etc. WE have to reconnect to understand our true identity. Until one is completely off the bodily conception of life their are not normal. The quickest and easiest way to come to our constitutional identity is to chant the Maha Mantra (the great mantra for deliverance from suffering and illusion) Go to krishanculture. for details and read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada.

Normal by definition means "lack of deviation from the average". However, what type of person is considered "average". In the US, it USED to be middle-class Americans, however, society has changed and the middle-class or "average" are no longer, they have fallen to the subnormal or lower class or below "average".
I, unfortunately, do not believe that "average" or "middle class" are terms I want to be defined by. I would much rather be considered a loving, caring and compassionate human being.
Wouldn't it be nice if people were no longer measured in "classes" and of "monetary value" but by virtue??

Normal is defined by perspective. If I am in a group of knuckleheads, which one in the group is more knuckleheaded? Depending on the perspective of individuals, what is “normal” will vary. Are we normal to a guy like your stereotypical extra terrestrial? Only perspective changes standards. So “normal” will never just mean, conforming to the standard or the common type – it will always rotate in cycles depending on perspective.

I define normal as what the majority of people in society are like, by those standards I am not normal. By standards of what I think society should be more like, I think I am normal.

I'm normal for my corner of the world and normal for my family. Norm is defined by society or at least the society that you live in.

No I don't consider myself normal. I really don't consider most people normal though. I am not sure there is such a thing as normal. If there is it would have to be some kind of scale to go by.
