Well, that all depends on how many calories you burn off. If you have a very active day and say you burn 5000 calories, if you take in only 4000 calories you would burn off some fat, and say if you have a very lazy day and you only use 1500 calories, and you take in more than that you will gain weight, if you take in less, you will lose weight. The thing is this has to be consistant. You must take in less calories(especially calories from fat) and use more, which usually means exersise. Try staying active and eating healthy and you will lose weight, but remember, do not starve your body, if you only use 1500 calories than you don't need to take in that many, but if you use 5000 and only take in 1000 you will be starving yourself.

Count your calories for a normal day ( DO this over a week and average it out) Its obviously too many so if you take in 3,000 calories a day, cut back to 2,000 . Cut down by 25- 20 percent and adjust. You have a problem with the diabetes. Its going to be important that you first watch What you eat as well as the calories. You have to watch the carbs and sugars. You also need to eat more small meals to keep your insulin regulated. That mean no skipping meals, just changing what you eat and including a healthy low calorie snack that will keep your insulin levels normal.

If I were you I would take in no more than 1500 calories per day. Watch how many carbonhydrated and grams of sugar you take in. Also drink lots of water, not diet cokes and stuff like that. Thanks, Brandon
