Is ALL racism a form of prejudice? I don't think so...hell I know it's not!

Why are people so politically correct they have to carry on the lie that racism is the same as being prejudice?

I am not prejiduce against black people because they are faster than white people.

I am not prejiduce angainst Dutch people because they are the tallest race of people in the world.

I am not prejiduce against Asians because they like to gamble.

All the above statements are RACIST statements...ALL the about statements are also TRUE. It does not make me prejiduce.

My point is I am sick of the way our culture is going. We are so afraid to to admit people are different.

I have black friends, Asian friends....whatever, my best friend is half black and half white.

It's so hard to ask this question and get people to understand what the hell I'm talking about.

People are so brainwashed to think if you say a racist statement, that you are doing something bad or wrong. It is NOT wrong to say blacks are the fastest race....THEY ARE!!!!! But what you need to understand is, by saying that, you are making a statement based on race, which is racism....RACISM IS NOT BAD...PREJIDUCE IS BAD!

When will we stop being so g#d dam politically correct?

I hope I am not the same race because people will think anyone who is the same race as you is an idiot.

You are making decisions based upon color or race that is not racism that is stupidity. Are all white people white trash losers?
I am white BTW and I am not white trash but you sound like you are.

My Asian friend has gone to the hourse races and also casinos with me and while I can spend thousands of dollars he will rarely spend more than $20.00 in the whole day. Wow I guess he is addicted to gambling like you say.

Just because you can find some article does not mean it is 100% true, I doubt the tallest person in the world is Dutch, I do not even care if it were true. Have you been to the Netherlands? I have and I did not think "WOW EVERYONE IS SO TALL" there are tall people and short people there.

Some people think all Asians are short but that is not true either, some say they all have small peckers and I know that is not true either.

I can say one thing though you are a fool who is trying to get a rise out of people. You are dogcrap.

Prejudice is about having a preconcieved notion about someone or a group and is not necessarily tied to race (though it often is). With that in mind, two of the statements you made are in fact prejudiced statements since you are making assumptions about a group as a whole.

For example, you say that black people are faster than white people. You're not singling out any particular black people or white people to compare. You are saying that collectively, black people are faster than white people. Therefore you have a preconcieved notion about both groups of people and that is what makes it a prejudiced statement.

I don't believe the statement you made about dutch people is a prejudiced statement if you provide evidence of scientific study that had determined that the average height of every dutch person is greater than the average height of every other individual race.

The difference with that statement is that you are not tying this quality to every dutch person. Your other statements imply that all black peolpe are faster than white people and all asians like to gamble.

Those statements stereotype, but they are not racist. Racism is feeling that another human being is somehow inferior due to their "race". A stereotype is an image of a certain group of people (not necessarily race) that is forwarded as the standard for that group. Prejudice is the negative treatment of someone based on based on a stereotype or other predetermined ideas of that person (hence, pre jud(ge) ice)

You are proving the point of racism/prejudice by making all those generalized statements. I am not athletic or "fast" and I am black. I spent a year in South Korea and didn't all the gambling to which you are alluding. Who really cares about the Dutch being the tallest?

Prejudiced means to pre-judge some one with out knowing them, racism is pre-judging someone because of their race or color, both are the same. only racism is a form of hatred... and hate comes from "FEAR" of the unknown, when you judge someone you don't know you are a prejudiced racist.

EVERYONE stereotypes and makes assumptions about people based on their culture and race before actually getting to know the person. though this is not good, there's little we can do to avoid it, it's the way our brains work, they are shortcuts our brains take. that's not to say that everyone is racist, most people will not act on those assumptions or say anything about them. they will dismiss them as soon as they get to know the person.
though there are a considerable amount of people of asian descent who are good at gambling, to label them all as good gamblers is a stereotype however good a stereotype it may seem and will lead to bad consequences. the best we can do is to get to know the individual.

Calm down I understand your point but you had it *** backward. Racism is the belief that you are superior because another race is inferior. Prejudice is to pre judge ( IE: hes awful effeminate so he must be gay) with out sufficient information. You were on the right track but you had it twisted.
