Hmm hang on for Bleach it gets real good. Full Metal Alchemist is a good one. Samurai X or Ruroni Kenshin is pretty good. Akira is one of the land mark movies along with Ghost in the Shell (movie). Ninja Scroll (movie) is supposed to be a good although I've not seen it. Spriggan is a good violent movie but it's still a pretty fair story also. Problem is with the anime, there is so much stuff yet to make it over here to the U.S. that and the sniveling little twits who are all hung up on brad pitt and the likes blow out some B/S about it. The Stories and such are so fresh compared to all the rehashes and remarkes of stuff here in Gaijin land that it's an up and coming genre hopefully it doesn't get de-railed. Grappler Bahkti is supposed to be a really good anime fighting movie. Fist of the North Star is pretty well fight orientated series also. Appleseed is a pretty good movie also. I like a bunch of different anime so it's hard not to list some of my favorites that don't fit into the total fighting type.

Trinity Blood is fantastic, great animation with a cool storyline of futuristic vampires. Lightning quick animation--one of my new favorites.
Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop are both great, with lots of action sequences and deep, rich animation. Cowboy Bebop is about interstellar bounty hunters, Samurai Champloo is set in 18th century Japan with loads of sword fights.
Lupin the Third is cool, although the animation is not like the newer anime shows. Done in a 1960's style animation, the story follows the story of Lupin and his fellow band of high class thieves. Not dark like the others, but very funny.
If you prefer very futuristic animation, check out Ghost in the Shell. The story follows an very elite military squadron that works behind the scenes to resolve the ever boiling issues in late 21st century Japan. Start at the beginning of the season though, all the shows tie together to one long storyline!

I would have to say Inuyasha! It is AWSOME!!!! It has tons of fighting. If you like Naruto. Then u will like Inuyasha It's about a half dog-demon that is trying to become a full demon by a crystal but the the crystal broke and shattered into many peices. But he is falling in love with a human from another time. She fell through a well that brought her to Inuyasha's time. She is now helping him find the shards of the crystal. It's awsome. But i haven't seen it for awile and i think they took it off the air. But i know you can buy the episodes. Good luck

Bleach and Naruto are great... Hmm you may like Basilisk, its dark and ninja-y and the animation is increadable. There is also Black Cat, Trinity Blood, Samurai Champloo and Shuffle. Or to spice things down I reccomend this Bleach meets Fruits Basket anime, Aishteru ze Baby. Basilisk is the best though.

Top of the list...
Samurai 7...only 26 episodes long, but absolutely the best anime I've ever seen. Animation is top of the line, amazing storyline, just well done.
MAR (check Toonami Jetstream) is one not too many people have heard of, but it's really worth watching.
Fullmetal Alchemist is really good as well.

Gungrave. It's about two friends who grow up as tough street urchins to later joining the mob, losing their moral values, betraying each other, and pulling the final curtain. It's great on Netflix. Also, I hear Samurai 7 is living to it's hype. Deathnote is bloody when it wants to be, but it's more drama & suspense. Still, it's the most clever anime i've seen in years.

FLCL - The top in anime as far as I'm concerned.
Plenty action, but that just scratches the surface.
The soundtrack by "The PIllows" rocks. Period.
It's like nothing I've ever seen or heard. . It's art.

naruto and bleach is ok, BUT if you want a really kickass anime series you must watch GANTZ its the best, it has amazing action , superb story that will make keep you at the edge of your seat, ITS A MUST SHOW ANIME, but its not for the weak of heart, (its might bit too enchantingly graphic and bloody for you) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !
