Your pig probably has a urinary tract infection, it will need antibiotics. I believe they give guinea pigs amoxicillin. You need to get it to the vet asap. Guinea pigs can go down real fast. You need to make sure it has plenty of fresh water always and keep cage clean. Keep pig out of any drafts. They do sell vitamin drops for the water too. I would definitely get the guinea pig to the vet fast. Good luck and I hope piggy is feeling better real soon.

I'm not sure if rabbits and guinea pigs are the same in this respect, but a rabbit breeder and show judge told me that if I fed my bunnies too many greens and clover, etc, it would turn their urine a pinkish colour - I guess kind of like the reaction human have when they take certain vitamins or eat asparagus?! My bunnies weren't used to eating carrots when they came from the breeder, and when I gave them some for a treat, their urine turned a funny colour, but they were fine and went back to normal quickly. I don't know if there is a causal link, but I hope that it is something minor like this for your guinea pig's sake!

If it has pinkish urine, it is probably peeing blood. You should take it to a vet asap.

Well,is it a female? Cuz it might have a menstrual cycle mixing in with urine. Or it may be bleeding on the inside and is draining out in urine! Could be a scratch or from it biting and scratching itself! It happens,so get vitamins and try taking it to a vet,A.S.A.P.! Maybe even go on a site with info on Guinea Pigs that might mention it!
