It sounds like your daughter has acid reflux. I feel for you. My daughter had acid reflux and when she vomited she projected it across the room. As long as she gains weight like she is supposed to I would not worry much about it. Just keep extra towels and wipes around. Nutramagin is expensive and it stinks but it worked for my daughter. It was the only thing she could keep halfway down. My husbands mom and dad would not ever hold her because she projected and they did not want to get dirty. Pretty sad huh. I hope your daughter has loving grandparents that don't care if thier clothing gets messed up. I feel for what you are going through but like I said I would not worry too much about it. She will eventually outgrow it.

How long after feedings? Is your baby still having the usual number of wet diapers(which would determine her hydration status) Large amounts, or a little. Normal to spit up saliva at times, I would worry more if she couldn't hold the formula down, but ask the ped. I tried 5 diff. formulas with mine and ended up on same stuff. It's so expensive. Try leaving her semi-upright after feedings for 15-30 min or so. good luck

Based on what my daughter did...it might be GERD. She would do the same thing. As much as it sucks, there isn't much you can do for it. As long as your baby is still gaining weight, he's going to be okay. Once you start feeding solids, it drastically changes. My doctor had me feeding solids at 3 1/2 months and now at 8 months, she hasn't had GERD for months. Obviously call the doctor if you are concerned to follow up. Good luck!

I dont know why that is because my son was on Ailimentum when he was young and he also spit that up clear too. Ailimentum is the same stuff just made by similac.

If she hasn't eaten in a while, it's probably stomach acid or water. Babies need to be fed often!!! (But they'll spit up just as often... if she stops gaining weight or starts to lose, take her to her pediatrician ASAP!)

I hate to state the obvious, but you should call the pediatrician. You are feeding her every 2-3 hours right? Burping her until she produces a good burp? There is no need to give her water, by the way. Babies get all the water they need from the formula or milk. Water just fills them up with nothing, when they should be filling up with something with calories and nutrition.
