My daughter opened her Nintendo DS Christmas morning and dropped it on accident and now the bottom screen is not working. We have the gift receipt, but the store will not have another shipment in until the end of January. Is there any way to fix it and is there a company that will fix it for a small cost if we cannot get it to work? Any suggestions would help.

You might be able to send it in to the manufacture... a lot of them have guarantees-- I dropped my Game boy once and just told the people that it stopped working and they had me send it in and they sent it back good as new. I don't think you should tell them that she broke it though or else they probably won't fix it... just say that it was like that.

If google "nintendo DS repairs" it will show some websites that do repairs. I haven't tryied any of those websites, but I might. My son dropped his Nintendo DS and broke the top screen, I bought the extended warranty but surprise!...they don't cover damages like that...go figure! .

There is no way to fix it without voiding the warranty and that is never a good thing to do.

Honestly, I'd just wait. That's a lot of money to take a chance on. Sorry :(
