It's for big plays. Touchdowns, interceptions ect. I don't think they'll be handing them out tonight. :)

They are Buckeye Tree leaves. The Buckeye tree is the Ohio State Tree. Each sticker represents a significant play by that individual player. The team is known as the Ohio State Buckeyes.

First of all, let's get a few things right. There is no U of Ohio. There is Ohio University located in Athens Ohio and The Ohio State University with the main campus located in Columbus, Ohio. I think you are asking about Ohio State. Those are Buckeye Blossoms and the players get one when they make a good play.

It's not Pot stickers, it's stickers of the Buckeye plant.

And they are awarded to the players for making big plays in games.

Those are actually the leaves of the Ohio Buckeye tree....which is what the Ohio Buckeyes team is named for. I agree, they do resemble pot, but it's actually the state tree leaves.

That's not pot, though it bears a strong resemblance. Those are horse chestnut leaves of which a buckeye is the seed.
