I'm 5'7 tall, 17 years old and I weigh 95 pounds. I eat a lot, but healthy (not a lot of junk food) food. What should be the perfect weight for my height in your opinion? Am I too thin now?

The rule of thumb is that for a female the first 5 feet is equal to 100 lbs and every additional inch after that is worth 5 additional lbs. If you're 5'7" you should weigh 135 lbs plus or minus 10 lbs. So if you're 95 lbs I'd say your well under weight. I would increase the protein, meats and cheeses. Maybe even try eating every 2 or 3 hours until you start seeing some progress. Definitely take a multi vitamin before some of your systems start shutting down, although they probably already have. You are way too thin. You can safely gain about 30 pounds and still be only marginally normal, barely passing the thin border. Maybe you should have some dessert every day...it's not healthy to eat healthy all the time. Do everything in moderation..even moderation!!

It depends...I am younger then you i eat alot i am 5'2 1/2 and weigh 91 pounds if you look at me you wouldn't think i weigh 91 pounds the only reason im skinny is because i have a high matabalism and am always burning calories (gymnastics) the reason you are so skinny is probably just cuz u have a high matabalism too if this is the case no your not to thin now

If your NOT active then yes you arre too skinny

Everyone is different. You can't judge by weight alone, anyway. If you eat enough and healthy food, then you are probably not too skinny. It's hard for anyone to say without being able to see you. If you are concerned, maybe you just need some muscle? Ask friends whose opinion you trust.

You are about the size my first wife was when we were that age. It was fine with me, fine with her. You can always ask the guys around you. see what they say. I don't think you need to be any smaller, though. Thin is ok up to a point, then it becomes unhealthy. Just be happy that you have room to gain a few pounds here and there and nobody will care.

youre on the small side, but i dont think youre TOO thin. im like 5'6 1/2 and almost 17, and i weigh about 105. im pretty thin, but i used to be thinner, and i always ate a lot too. you just have a fast metabolism, nothing wrong with that.

Have you always been that thin? If you have then you aren't thin you are how you are. But if you think this a health hazard then I would talk to your doctor. And I don't think there is a "perfect" weight for any age.

i havent weighed 95 lbs, since i was about 11 or 12, and i was only like 5 or 5'1, and im still thin,but i weigh 120, and am 5'5

I think you should gain a few pounds...maybe just get into the 100s!!! But hey if not you seem like you look great!!!
