If you mean how than it was heat attack from his earlier years over use of Drugs & Alcohol.
Eddie had been clean for a few years but the use of Drugs & Alcohol still messed with his system as they do.
Read his book to know more about what happend with the Drugs & Alcohol.

He was found in the bathroom of his hotel room by Chavo.

How did Eddie die? acute heart failure, caused by undiagnosed arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease and enlargement of the heart as a result of prior anabolic steroid abuse. I love eddie but he had his demons resolved them but it was to late wrestle in peace
