you know about hard times , it welcomes you and embraces you , you know not another way, your soulmate because you know struggle and it knows you,
i like it, and i think i understand it , ive lived it. also at times i think grammer should be thrown, to the wind , because its the meaning behind the words that carry the weight not the grammer, some of the best prose i have read , did not have perfect grammer , it is the feeling that the words evoke that matter the most , since feelings and emotions are what REALLY carry us through our lives.

Your grammar is awful. Write it as "I am familiar with struggles as if they were my soul mate."
Oh, and it means that struggling through life is and always has been something they've had to deal with, their constant companion.

The writer knows struggles, deep in her/his soul. She/he knows what it is to do without, to have to work for what they want.This person has been through hard times, possibly alone.

The grammer is poor. Struggles are plural so the 2nd part should read...as though they were my soulmates.

i take it to mean the person has struggled throughout life..like it okay...it's a poetic way to say it.. but really kinda sad if you think about it
