At a young age, if a child feels pain in his nose he will touch it. This also happens any where and here is an example, if your tooth hurts you cant stop yourself from touching it. So a child will stick his finger up his nose and because it is a learning stage in there life, they will do it more commonly. Also if someone feels something in there nose, at any age, they will try to get it out in any way.
