try nursing him again. Your body will remember how to poduce and he will be happy with the milk humans need for the first few years.

i've got the same problem with my 15 month old girl.

that's why i'm still breastfeeding...

only way i can make her take dairy (cause that's what it is they need) is joghurt (lots of it) and cheese.

good thing about joghurt is you can feed it with a spoon (and can add some cereal) or give it in a cup when you mix it with juice (which adds some vitamins, too).

also, try different ways of giving it to him: sippycup or straw - warm or cold. at 1yr he's actually too old for the bottle anyway.

you can also mix formula into his cereal, soups or porridge - anything goes.

by the way - i was the same my mum says. and her pediatrician at the time (33 years ago) suggested 'drink-joghurt' - and i would say it hasn't done any harm to me...

Will he drink Ensure (if doctor says he can) or Pedialight. If drinks one or the other, you can atleast find comfort in him getting the appropriate nutrients.

Oh, one more thing...will he drink from a cup? If so, then go with it. I went straight from the breast to a cup and I turned out okay. Its the nutrients you are worried about, not how he is getting it...most people struggle to get the bottle away from their child at older ages, maybe this is a blessing in disguise.

you should just buy pump and you can save in the freezer after you done pump.. and you can at less give few days and then give him milk.. and at his age he should be drinking formula.. Or you can try to trick him on the formula...
or you should go ask the doctor...

Why the heck didn't his caregiver introduce him to milk??? The kid needs the fat and calories for proper BRAIN development. Just give him milk, and plenty of it. Do it in a sippy or cup or whatever he is used to drinking out of. Poor kid.
