No, i myself dont believe in abortions and i can never ever see myself having one but when abortions were illegal people still had them, they just got themselves hurt and killed to have them. and if they did have the baby they killed the baby the only way i could even understand why someone should get one is if it were a high risk to the mom and baby and if its a product of rape i cant stand people who get adortions just to get one or if they think they cant afford it but then a few months later they are pregnant again i know a girl who had like 4 adortions by the time she was 19 and now she wants a baby and is having a hard time getting pregnant and not losing it i hope she never has one all those babies dead is so sad

And once again, I post my log winded answer to this question. I need to make a file of this so I can copy paste...
*ahem*

Abortion is a picky issue, because of the time at which it is done. Early on, there is a conglomeration of cells, with the only difference between them and the tumor growing on my neighbor's leg is that the first has a higher chance of becoming something sentient later on.

This topic is also one that cannot be completely made illegal. There are too many 'What if's that can occur that would cause more harm than good. Such as, if the baby is born the mother will die or have severe, extreme complications, and then who would want to tell a child that their mother isn't around because she died giving birth to them? There's a definate possibility that the child will have problems thinking that they were the reason that their mother died, it was their fault. Other problems exist, but I will not mention them here.

Then if a law is to be made that restricts abortion, it would be quite an undertaking. To restrict the time of gestation at which it is done would be one of the only successful restrictions that could be made. Giving certain situations the go ahead or denial of abortion will lead to many needless court cases as doctors are tried for 'fetus murder' when they were misinformed by the patients (or were deliberately ignoring the law). This would cause a burden of the legal system, a burden of the medical system (as competent doctors (and otherwise) are taken out due to these cases), and must be realized.

And as abortion laws stand now, many people have problems with them. As the laws would stand under those same people, many others would have problems with those.

We need to find a middle ground between the two groups of thought, and work together to figure them out.
If nothing else, we can agree that we are not satisfied.
Constantly saying the same arguments for the complete domination of one group over the other does NOTHING to fix the problem. Seeing as abortion is legal, the side opting to make it illegal should come forward with workable ideas that would make themselves content and those for abortion content.

Backstreet or unlawful abortions are frequently carried out in poorer international places who don't have get entry to to healthcare. each so often it really is carried out by way of placing an merchandise into the cervix (it truly is were the coat hanger reference comes from.) different cases it really is carried out by way of inducing trauma, kicking contained in the tummy as an example. the concern with a number of those abortions is they very risky and may bring about infections that could want to be deadly. If every person needs an abortion, they ought to visit planned parenthood and communicate with someone there.

Your so right!!! Abortion is murder, not only that but it is selfish!! You could be depriving the world of someone who has the cure for aids or cancer because you dont want to step up to the plate and take resposibility for your own actions! No matter what the circumstances are there is a reason for that child to be born even if its rape. I know its horrible that women are raped and become pregnant but they cant take it out on their unborn child. They have to remember half of that baby came from them and even if they dont want to keep the baby adoption is a great alternative to abortion. I had a friend who said she thought she was pregnant and wanted to have an abortion and I told her to give me her baby, she said no because she didnt want to go through being pregnant, what a selfish piece of crap she was! Thank god she was not pregnant. Abortion is evil selfish murder and all too often women use it as a form of birth control. To every pro choice person who answers this question, you ought to be ashamed of yourself!!

Id also like to add that the arugement that women would just do it themselves if it were illegal does not phase me, if you are stupid enough to do that, maybe you deserve to die, you know that its probably going to kill you, so if you do it anyway its pretty much like suicide.

Of course abortion should be illegal. It does not take a genius to see that. Ask a child what they think about "killing the baby in Mommy's tummy". From the mouth's of babe's.....it is very easy to know that abortion is wrong.
I ask you this one question, if a child is not safe in its mother's womb, than where IS it safe? We have taken away the one, ultimate, safe and sacred haven. It is an honor to be a sanctuary and it is also a heavy burden. There is a reason that women were entrusted with the ultimate honor of being able to bring forth life. I am quite sure that it has proven to be a terrible disappointment to whatever sacred deity made that decision.
Women are proving to be unfit for the trust that was placed in their hands.
I do believe with all my heart that some day abortion will be against the law and like some other great evils, such as slavery, people will look back at this time in history and hang their heads in shame.

There are some cases where abortion is the best and only option.

Here are two examples:
1. The baby you carry has no chance of being born alive and is hurting you to carry it.
2. What if your daughter was raped and as a result became pregnant. I don't think there would be very many pointing fingers if an abortion took place in this instance.

The fact of the matter is, whether you are pro life or pro abortion it is inevitably up to each person to decide for themselves what is best. I may not agree with their choice but I respect their right to make that choice.

No, it was that's WHY it became legal. Because although it was illegal wome were getting them. They were getting them in back allies, at home using coat hangers, bars of soap...having them done by garage mechanics who had no knowledge of what they were doing let alone the female anatomy and women died from infections, while others bled to death (still pregnant) on a butcher table in some filthy abode. Now at least women can get abortions in medical clinics so that IF complications arrise there are trained staff who will know what to do and won't just leave the woman there to bleed to death. Without abortion, many extremely young women who's bodies are not ready to gestate a full term pregnancy would suffer, a large number of them would die either during the pregnancy or while giving birth because their bodies hadn't matured, without abortions women with medical problems (such as diabetes) would wind up dying from complications at birth which could also cause the baby's death as well if she gestated to term. Consider this, a mother of three who has been diagnosed with a kidney disease has been warned that another pregnancy will kill her, despite birth control and protection she winds up pregnant for a fourth time. (keep in mind her doctor refused to do a tubal at her last birth because of her age and a hysterectomy was out f the question because of her age as well). She has a choice, she can gestate to term and die giving birth leaving her three children, plus the new baby motherless, and leaving her husband to raise three small children and an infant on his own. Or she can have an abortion, be alive to watch her three beautiful children grow up, grow old along with her husband, become grandparents...Which would YOU choose if you were that young mother?
And one more time...a pregnancy is NOT a baby, a baby is a BORN human a pregnancy is NOT a born human a fetus is NOT a BORN human. So emotional terms like "you're murdering a baby" do not fit. You can not murder what has not been born...

What if you health was at stake or you were raped? Would you still have the baby knowing that you wouldn't be around to care for it or knowing the baby's father was a rapist? There are many legitimate reasons for abortion. It s every woman's right to choose. How would you like it if this law was passed and then women lost all of their rights thereafter? You should think about it!

Nope.. I think having abortion is just wrong and not good for you body or for your health either.. And why have sex and not use protection.. or why do not have sex until marriage, A lot of people get pregnancy.. at young age They have to take up responsible of new life..
Why do people who made mistake get to have baby.. And people who wanted to have baby doesn't get pregnancy or if have miscarriage.. I am not sure if punishment for people who wanted to have baby.. but People who doesn't wanted to get pregnancy gets pregnancy.... and some of them just leave them dead on the street /in the trash after it born. Why can people just bring to hospital? Why can people just think before they act on it and they mistake they take... Abortion should never be illegal...I am happy you didn't give up your kid or abortion it.. Remember it new life and it that person mistake to get knock up in the first places...and wanted to get abortion.. God can punish that person...(sorry the region) but i had to say it

Good luck raise your baby... It take a lot of work.. but you would get good outcome.. and you know you didn't made mistake..
There is always good to have baby and if you do not wanted it you can put to adoption

But good luck..
