You can write, "I believe that nursing is a profession that will allow me to help people at a time when they are the most deserving of compassion and empathy, when they are ill or in the process of healing. Many patients feel quite vulnerable and need to be taken care of by professional people who truly care.
I would feel blessed to be allowed the opportunity to pratice this on a daily basis as a nurse.
I am willing and anxious to begin this new path I have chosen. I realize that this nursing program will not be an easy one and that I must remain faithful and focused on my studies. However, I know I will succeed because I am truly dedicated to my decision.
The nursing profession is constantly changing and I realize there are not very many men. This fact only makes me more determined simply because I feel that we are in demand. A male nurse can be a true asset in an emergency room as well as other areas of a hospital. Emergency rooms are a perfect example because it deals with people who are sometimes confused and agitated, drunk, or abusing drugs. Also, male patients sometimes feel more comfortable with a male nurse because they don't feel as embarrassed.
It is common knowledge that there is a shortage of nurses in the United States and besides the fact that it is a very personally rewarding career it is also one that pays well. I know that once I am working and have experience there are so many areas I can venture into. Nurse anethesist, administrative positions, and teaching to name a few.
I also plan on eventually volunteering my skills to my community by becoming involved in various events such as the "Special Olympics."
I have the deepest respect for your nursing program and I truly believe that if you accept me into this program, I will become the student and a Nurse you will be proud of.

Nursing is the protection, promotion, and optimization of health and abilities, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response, and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations.
Nurses have never been more important to health care than they are today. They must be well-educated, adaptable, and able to act as patient advocates. Nurses should be prepared for leadership roles in managing resources to promote better health care for their patients, whatever the location or setting.
There is a strong demand for nurses today. Career prospects are good, and job possibilities are plentiful. Nurses are needed not only in hospitals, but in home health agencies, long-term care facilities such as nursing homes, managed care centers, and in community health. Educating patients & their families in preventive care is highly important.

sounds love that's extra of merely the regulations of one facility that the staff are no longer chuffed approximately. no longer all centers manage their team badly. in case you desire to realize the BSN or MSN degree, it must be extra perfect to do all of it on the beginning up rather of going back. i comprehend many nurses who grew to develop into RN's with an ADN and not in any respect went back when you consider that they have been bored with training. In my case. i did no longer see the want for extra training and am chuffed with the place i'm with out it. maximum of my administration group below me do have BSN tiers, even nevertheless it nonetheless does no longer mean you get to the best of the ladder with it.
