Give the matter some time. Go through, in your own time, the grieving process; heal; learn; and move on. Hold on to the memories and don't dwell on the negative/bad times. What the two of you shared appears to have been a special relationship where each loved the other. He may have made a mistake by getting involved with another woman but that probably was just a physical situation where he made a bad decision and assumable regretted after the fact. While I in no way approve of infidelity, I must state that we all make mistakes but are worthy of being forgiven and loved in spite of our faults and poor choices. Regardless of the one-night stand he had, I am sure that he loved you and that his heart was, is, and will always be with you. The love you and he shared was special, nothing nor no one can replace that; that will always be there for you. Heal and be happy, remembering that you were blessed to have him in your life and was allowed to receive his love. I'm sure he'd want you to move on, knowing that he did in fact love you.

You should talk to his dad as often as you can and let him know that you still care aboute his son

Definitely , I feel that there are different degrees and levels of love
To me if someone touched your heart, there was a connection, and even if your not together, it will always be there and special. It's amazing how many people can touch your heart within a lifetime. And I look forward to many more connections.

i don't really know! Sorry i cant help much but my guess would be yeah he loved you but you wasn't there all the time so he had to find some one who could be there while you weren't there. He didn't love her because love is something that grows with time and they did not have enough time to let it grow. He was most likely just using her.But that's just a guess!

Well...thats hard im sorry.... Honestly i think he most likely loved you with that kind of a relationship he did, more than likely he was scared to tell you because of the friendship yall had. Even if he did love the other girl, theres no doubt in my mind that you took part in his heart!!!!!!!!!
