please simplify?

i know i already posted this but i think it might have been hard to understand because of the exponents.....i am posting it so it's easier to read just to be sure....

100 = 10^2
So 100 x^2 y^16 z^8 = [10 x y^8 z^4] ^2
The square root and the square cancel, leaving:

10xy^8z^4

Where did you find the square root symbol?
