is printer hooked up to a computer on the network? Then right-click on the printer icon, and enable sharing. Follow the prompts. As long as the computer it is attached to is left on, the printer will now be available to other computers on the network in the same workgroup.

You have three choices:

1) Get a printer which is sold as "network ready" and install it on your router.

2) Get a "mini print server" and connect that to your router, then connect the printer to it.

3) Use an existing computer as a print server... install the printer on it, and make it "shareable".

In each case, you then set up the printer as a network device on each computer in the network.
