That is a serious corruption charge . She is using her office to promote the use of cheap labor which she is profiting from.

""She led the opposition and voted against the Secure Fence Act of 2006 recently signed into law by President Bush to build a 700-mile fence along the U.S.-Mexican border.

She opposed the Real ID Act of 2005, a valuable anti-terror tool, while bragging that Democrats under her leadership "defeated Republican attempts to restrict the easily forged Matricula Consular card" issued by the Mexican government.

She voted against a bill to make employers such as herself financially liable for hospital costs if undocumented employees seek medical attention, preferring that either taxpayers foot the bill or that hospitals close under the burden, as many are doing throughout the Southwest.

In 2005 she voted against barring the issuance of driver's licenses to illegal aliens and against a requirement that businesses use an electronic system to verify whether new hires have the legal right to work in the U.S.

Nor has Pelosi been a fan of employer sanctions against the hiring of illegal aliens. In 2003, she accused immigration officers of conducting "terrorizing raids" on Wal-Mart stores that led to the arrest of more than 300 illegal aliens"

To Calee:
If you went to high school you would know "Aliens" is a word that has been used since the start of this country. You should know of the "Alien And Sedation Acts Of 1798"

"She has an obvious conflict of interest every time that she votes on an immigration security bill because she and her husband personally benefit from the influx of cheap labor without whom “[N]ot one bottle of wine would get made here,” according to a farm worker advocate with Napa Valley Community Housing. [1] Is Pelosi looking out for her own financial interests, calculating how a law imposing strict penalties on employers of illegal aliens might affect her vineyard business instead of focusing on how porous borders will affect the security of everyday American citizens"

Flood the U.S. Attorney's office/Justice Department with letters/calls demanding investigations.

Sadly, Mr./Ms. Member, you have pointed out her voting record and people still refuse to accept the truth even when they have documented facts. Most of these people would rather argue with facts than hold anyone accountable. Holding our elected officials accountable requires time and effort that people are either to lazy, complacent , or ignorant to follow through with. They don't even know where to start. The responses you have received do not shock me; they appall me. These are the very people that our corrupt leaders depend on; those who are complacent and oblivious. That is how and why they get away with passing bills that are anti-American, while selling us out and continuing their corruptions. I don't know which grew faster the population or the government. Yet, neither one is capable of managing the other, or itself.

Denial is a default condition. Nothing ever gets done honestly and timely in this country because of denial and blame on the side of both parties.

Who said she hired illegal aliens? You? That is not supported in the source you provided. Using cheap labor (1) and being against several ant-illegal alien bills(2) does not mean that she employs illegal aliens(5).
Crafting that conclusion from the information provided is akin to saying 1 + 2 =5.
If you can provide a report that indicates she DOES employ illegal workers, I would love to read it. In the event that were true, I would argue that her constituents should pressure her to resign. But again, your source DID NOT state this.

Response:
"Benefits from the cheap labor" does not equal hires. Critical thinking is vital when digesting opinion-based media. If there were proof tying Pelosi directly to illegal immigrants (employing them), do you think that it would be broken in an editorial?
Were this proven true, there would be a major crap-storm. The author of your editorial, sexied up his or her conjecture with misleading prose.

Response to Lana:
"Most of these people would rather argue with facts than hold anyone accountable."
By God I hope so. Otherwise the deft stroke of a pen or keyboard would indict us all.
But no one is arguing facts here, this editorial (as most are) is dominated by opinion and speculation that cannot be supported with evidence.
Read the article carefully the author delicately dances from the facts: Nancy Pelosi owns a farm and has voted against anti-illegal legislation

to conjecture: She has a vested interest in maintaining a stream of undocumented workers and cannot be objective about border security.

Her statements are easy to justify. Nancy Pelosi needs to stay in potential, which of direction is superb for every person in her concepts. Illegals would be criminal sometime if she gets her way. which means she gets extra votes to stay in potential.

Typical republican slander. Make baseless accusations and offer nothing to back it up with. Don't you people ever get tired of lying? And you wonder why America voted you out of control?
