how long did it take you to get pregnant after getting off the depo shot??? it took 2 years for me the first time without trying, but now i am trying and have been off of it for 6 months. thank you

it took me six months to even have a period after getting off. a friend had to take the pill for a couple of months to regulate and when she stopped the pill got pregnant right away

I actually got pregnant two weeks after forgetting to get my depo one time. My doctor said it normally takes from 6 to 18 months. What's really strange, is that all my kids were conceived while using some form of birth control.

I actually conceived actively taking the shot. My son is 6 1/2 years old getting honor roll every nine weeks. Good luck!

It took my sister 4 years after taking only two shots. Hopefully, you will have better results. She didn't have her period for over a year after the shots.

if it takes more than a year for your period to arrive, and are seriously trying, I would suggest asking your dr to induce your period and therefore ovulation using provera.
