okay, so obviously you like original, unique names. as a variation of emrey, i've heard emery (anne), which i think is really pretty. just remember that your kids will have to live with those names throughout their lives; there's a pretty big chance they'll have different tastes than you.

I know two girls named Emrey or Emery, and It always makes me think of a nail file.
Chaston is sweet.
If you're goign for unique, Emerald is a girls name and could have Emrey as a nickname, but at least there would be a fall back that's not an abrasive.

Emory is ok but the chaston has got to go !
He will be punching his way through school and will be teased an awful lot by his peers. How about Charles and he has the nickname of Chas

You want to name your daughter after a nail file (emery board) AND you want to spell it wrong?!?!
As for Chaston, I see it and pronounce it chass-ton... therefore it contains the A-S-S sound, never a good thing in a name. It also reminds me of Chap-Stik for some reason- do you want your son to be associated with lip gloss?

I thought it was spelled Emory?
Chaston sounds very upper crust.
Emry sounds a little...lower crust. Sorry...I do like Emory though.
If it's any consolation my daughter's name is Aubrey - go ahead, make fun of it...
