i quite like it but it is very popular here in australia - it was no 10 most popular name in 2006, which quite surprised me...

It's super-trendy and quite common. I'm not fond of this name at all. It always makes me think of crayons and minivans, not little girls.

Sienna was ranked 299 on the Social Securitiy Administration's most recent list. That doesn't sound so bad until you realize it jumped more than 300 places from 2004 to 2005! When the 2006 list comes out in April, I predict it will have jumped at least another 100 places. This name is very 'of the moment'. Many parents are discovering it at the same time.

I like the name Sienna, it is a very pretty name and I don't think it has become a common name yet.

Other than the famous Sienna Miller, I have never heard of that name. So no, I don't think it is very common, but it does make a pretty name.

Hi! Wow, I've never heard that for a name. That is so unique. A variation would be th Italian spelling of "Siena." There is a place in Tuscany called Siena and it is heavenly. Good Luck!

I like it pretty well, sounds different. Haven't heard of too many named that. Whole lot of Sierras, though.
