First, open your engine oil filler cap ( where you put in new oil ), have someone start the engine while you inspect to see if your camshaft is turning. a) if it doesn't turn, your timing belt is broken. b) if it turns then after a few start: remove one of your spark plug and inspect if gasoline is present but unburn, Audi seems to equipped with computerized control ignition so no timing is required but there is a ignition relay switch located just behind the ignition rotor ( where your spark plug wire ) comes out if this getting loose or bad connection, it won't sent a pulse to your computer to send the ignition start to engine.b) check all your fuses it could be a simple fuse that connect to engine ignition switch./ also check engine relays switch. ( from relay box located in engine compartment ). German cars sure make a good engine with mechanical reliability but their electrical works are poor in quality and required several replacement during lifetime.

No pulse in the injector or spark in the spark plugs could be your timing bell? ( follow step A above ) Good luck!

Sounds like a broken timing belt. If the cam is not turning no signal will be sent. DO NOT TRY AND START IT. Tow it to a shop. If you bend the valves it will cost more to fix.

Also if you have ruled that out try the cam position sensor. It sends the signal to the computer. Also make sure you have a good ground. Audi has had some trouble with grounds.

There are many possibilties, have it towed to a shop thats deals with Audi and have them diagnose it properly. And then when the bill comes, don't ***** about the price, you bought an expencive car, you pay expencive repair bill, natural law of things.
