This is a very broad question, however I think War is never really justified, Are you defending the right to War?

Additional: I look at it this way when those that decide it is in the interest of the, "Nation" to start a war, personally pay out of their own assets and not gain in any form such as influence or other, "hidden gains" from the production and/or the after effects of the said war then to me it is OK to go to war.

When we are attack, there was an 80% approval rating for Bush when he sent troops into Afghanistan, that has to include some democrats, we are still there and nobody is complaining. We go into Iraq based on lies told by the executive branch and now there is a 30% approval, that has to include some of the enlightened repuglicans. That answer your very loaded question did it.

imagine if Iraq actually attacked us. then yes that would be good.

thanks to the galvanizing effect of 9/11 a lot of people ( most of the country) that were for it at the time no longer are. Thanks to the fact that emotion has been replaced with a jaded loss of faith in a lying president.
though if bush and his people would have read not to mention acted on intelligence before 9/11 we might not even be in iraq fighting the saudis ( those that claimed responsibility )
