a 55 year old man that i do love, but hasnt worked since Oct 2005. he doesnt live with me..........he stays with his cousin but she said he will have to move once her brother moves back from Florida. I feel sorry for him...............

Caring for him is okay. Taking care of him is not. Look at why he doesn't work. You are not responsible for him!

how close are you. that's one important question.
and i think 55 is still very early to retire in the modern world. he can find some form of work, somewhere. tell him to try. at least to cover his expenses. you can't let people depend on you just because they are lazy to work. providing a roof for a person in need is OK, as long as they are willing to be responsible and look after themselves.
unless he's out of work because of a reason.
