i would. i would take the struggle. i know that it is a difficult thing, emotionally and maybe physically, but it would be worth it to see someone that society looks down on and thinks will probably become another statistic become something more. i think i would do it once my kids grow up. and i would attemp to adopt and older child because they are the most neglected. maybe then people wont have to use this as an exuse for abortions.
but then maybe i dream too much of a better future. i guess some of my desires are too farfetched. a society where at least most children will find a decent ome will probably NEVER happen. cont hurt to dream though.
anywho, would you?why or why not?

Yes, for 5 years we thought that I couldn't have children and we were thinking of adopting a child later on this year and I got pregnant last year. I have a beautiful 8 month old daughter named Chloe. I love children and we are still thinking of adopting anyway, pretty much for the same reasons you are talking about. My cousin adopted a little boy (he was only 4 days old when she got him) and he is so great. I understand that people would like to have a child of their own but, if you just thought about what these poor children had to go through maybe it would change their minds. If people had one child of their own and then adopted a child (for people that wanted two children of course) think of all of the children that would be saved from horrible lives and maybe they wouldn't take the same path that their own parents took.

I'm going to adopt a preteen. So many babies are adopted that the older kids never get a chance.

I work as a Missionary and I have met many children I would adopt. Problem is, my wife wouldn't.
