I honestly have had my tongue pierced. it truly is no longer that undesirable. right it truly is what you do to keep the discomfort down. it truly is no longer a lot even as they stick the needle in, yet afterwards. - in the previous getting it pierced, take a pair more effective skill tylenols. also, devour a brilliant 7-11 Slurpee or some thing, and use the coldness to numb your tongue. - Then, accurate this second afterwards, go lower back to 7-11. heavily, devour Slurpee's all day. The coldness helped me, mine did not even damage. - do not get it pierced by way of your chum in a storage someplace. visit a authentic position. the guy who does it might also have the capacity to grant you good suggestion. - to evade it getting contaminated, for the first couple weeks you want to upward push your mouth out with Listerine some cases an afternoon. you'd be fantastic

I would think that your parent would have to be there to give permission but I suppose that it depends on the state you are in and the reputability of the body piercer. I must say though, as a "grown-up" who had her tongue pierced in her youth;(maybe ten years ago) think twice about the piercing, just because the tongue ring will cause more saliva in your mouth and tooth decay. You can also break your teeth. I broke two molars! They are expensive to fix. How cool will you be with rotten and missing teeth?

Your parent must be present at the time of piercing. In the event that some thing happens you will be glad that they are there.

All I know about them is that anyone I've known who got one took it out less than a year later....not worth the pain or trouble (you have to take it out to eat and will talk funny for a long time...plus, your parents will ground you if you get one without their permission).

Not sure of the age, but i have had mine pierced twice. Beware of damage to your teeth. It looks cool now but you wont look so cool missing a tooth :)
