Iran (Persia), Greece, Armenia, Israel (Judea - disappeared and then reconstituted), China, India: recognisably the same language and ethnic composition.
Egypt? Different language, religion and (partly) ethnic composition?
Germany? Partly different territory, different religion and (eat your heart out Adolf) partly different ethnic composition?
