Its the same as if you gave birth.... your cervix was opened to remove the baby. You need to allow your body to heal or you will introduce Bactria into your body and get and infection. u really do need time to heal...

You can have sex after an abortion- the woman needs time to heal!!! I had a day surgery for endometriosis and the last thing on my mind was sex- however, the woman next to me jumped right up and said "When can I have sex?" I'm thinking are you crazy? Just time to heal.

For a number of weeks, the uterus will be easily infected, so sexual activity is stopped. Also, until birthcontrol is established, the woman may be able to be impregnated again. Good luck!

because their cirvix is open a little and is succeptable to infections which could kill her. keep yourpeckar in yourpants, and after 6 weeks, use a condom, and you won't have that problem any more.

because the fetus is pulled through the vagina...and bleeding occurs...similar (although nothing like) giving birth...the body needs time to heal...
