All birth control pills/patches/implants have hormones which will make you feel queasy/ hungry/ moody/horny/ crazy at first. Some methods take longer to kick in than others..just be patient when starting a new birth control you always feel weird/tired/achy Make sure you use condoms with birth control for the first few weeks till pill is taken regularly all the time to avoid pregnancy. If at any time you miss a pill use condoms regularly until next period. Pills have a good side too... shorter periods, less cramps, good protection of pregnancy if used right.
(Pills do not protect you from STD's) Good luck!

I was on birth control too.... Birthcontrol gives you side effects of being pregnant even though your not.. Don't worry, it is the birth control, after you take it for a few weeks, those feelings will go away. Birthcontrol needs to build up those hormones to keep you from getting pregnant, so it makes your body think it is already pregnant....you cant get pregnant if you are already "pregnant." But dont think Im saying that you wont get pregnant because it is still possible.
Birthcontrol just makes you feel like your having a false pregnancy.

Nausea is a common side effect of the birth control pill. Your doctor and pharmacist. should have explained or at least mentioned the many possible side effects.
Contact them, but in the meantime, look up your pill online. You can probably find the official website for your brand.
Also, here's the Wikipedia webpage about the pill:

I have been on SO many bcs because of side effects like this. You are probably on too high of a dose or hormones or its just not the right one for you. I had trouble with ALL the pills. They made me sick to my stomach constantly, i binge ate to get rid of the feeling, then i stopped eating all together on one because it made me so sick. My doctor recommended the nuvaring because it doesn't go through the stomach and the blood stream, therefore it has less side effects and doesnt effect the stomach. I love it. And you dont have to remember to take a pill everyday. I've had no side effects on it, and i have been on 5 different pills and the patch with bad side effects with all of them. Good luck with everything, definetly talk to your doctor right away about trying something else, you should not be suffering

birth control is reallty a way of tricking your body into thinking it already preganant - i went through 2 months of feeling awful - feeling sick...breasts were big (a whole cup size) and soar...it was awful - but then it just went away - if you really want to be in the pill then endure it and it will go away - but remember that you have to use a condom the first month and that if yo have a day or two of diareah or stomache flu or take an antibiotic during a month you have to use a condom then too - the pill won't work that month

Give this brand/type of birth control pills at least 2 months. If you still are having problems, your doctor can prescribe another type or strength. Keep trying until you find one that works for you. Being on birth control pills should always make you feel better - or else you are one of the few who cannot tolerate any of them.

I also had that problem. I started taking the pill right before going to bed. Then you usually sleep through the nausea.

Contact your doctor and describe your sypmtoms and problems. The prescription may be too strong, and you may need to change to another type or lower dosage of birth control.

Talk to your Doctor. You may need a lower dose pill. Keep taking until you speak with your physician. Good luck!
