Insomnia is usually caused by anxiety or stress or even depression if it lasts a long time. Go to "emedicine.com" and look up insomnia.
Talk to your parents about it. Is something going on in your life fight now?Tlk to an adult for some help.

1. Stop drinking things that have caffeine in it, coffee tea soda. Drink only decaffeinated, and you will see an immediate difference. Soda with caffeine: Mello Yello, Coke, Pepsi, Dr. Pepper. Soda's without caffeine are like ginger ale, sprite, 7-up, water is always a good choice too.

2. If you are going through something in your life, problems can cause you to have lack of tiredness. When I am mad at someone it really bothers me and I do lose sleep over it. I try to not let "them" get to me, but they do...even when I tell myself these SOB's are sleeping like babies.

Read something boring, it works for me every time. You could also try taking melatonin. It is a natural supplement that helps some people get to sleep.

I used to have the same problem. Reading a book late at night and staying off of anything with caffeine will work.
