The older material without a doubt is 10x's better than the new material. Just because 50 Cent sells many records doesnt make him a genius artist. 50 Cent is only marketed right. I prefer NWA,Public Enemy, Geto Boys, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious 5 and Eric B and Rakim WAY over this modern garbage that sounds the same lyrically and musically.

Kanye west makes exclusively good music, t.i. king, rubberband banks by Young dro. y u seem like you are trying to fit into a clique. Look for underground rap since few if anyone will know it and also search for people like j-da-kiss, not big names but popular ones
