Mostly people from Southwest Asia think Im from there country. But the thing is that Im hispanic. Can that be a good thing?

I have the same problem. I'm Indian (India), but people usually think I'm Mexican, Muslim, Native American, and so on. It can be frustrating sometimes because people can automatically stereotype you or think you are something you are not. But in life I guess you just have to deal with it.

Hispanic is good.
A consideration is where you live.
If ya live in USofA lots of Hispanics. Not many Southwest Asians in USofA. Southwest Asia generally includes: Afghanistan, Armenia, Bahrain, Cyprus, Sinai (eastern Egypt), Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar,
Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Yemen and part of Pakistan.

I get confused when people think the wrong thing of me too. Being Hispanic is a good thing.

My niece has dark complexion, and dark eyes, and everyone thinks she's either Hispanic or Arabic, she's Cajun.
My husband has dark skin, and dark eyes, and everyone thinks he's Hispanic, and he's Italian.
It happens.
