i am doing a project where i must find examples of things that symbolize greek gods. For hades, i am doing the dead thornbushes at the end of the sleeping beauty. What are these called, and where can i get a good picture of it?

Also, i need a plant that represents Posiedon, Lord of the Sea. Some characteristics are he is competitive, he is powerful, andif it helps, his symbol is a trident. Thanks!

In the brothers Grimm version the princess is called "Dornröschen" and that's a hint that the thorn hushes are hedge roses.

2 suggestions for a plantr representing Poseidon:

wild celery /celeriac (apium graveolens L.):
Celery leaves were worn by the winners of the Isthmian Games. The Isthmian Games, were associated with the sea god Poseidon [Ποσειδῶν] and took place near the city of Corinth.

Syrian Rue (peganum harmala): the name has been linked to the winged horse Pegasos, sired by Poseidon with Medusa.

Sneak into your mom's room while she's fast asleep. Gently peel the covers off, snap a good picture, and run like hell. That should go over great in school!
