this is a great question and I wish I could give you a great answer! :( They say time heals all wounds. But personally I think a heartache stays for quite sometime no matter what.

Because the heart is such a strong instrument that it repairs itself from being broken and/or hurt. Fact of live is that we will all have our hearts broken many times throughout our lives and majority of us will also be responsible for breaking others hearts. But the heart being what it is will fully recover after a time for grieving our losses, and then allow us to continue on with our lives as we did prior to having it broken.

There is medicine for heartache it is called prayer. God will give the healing to mend your broke heart and guide you to find someone who really loves you for you.
