Phil Fulmer gets about 2 million a year.Pat Summitt about the same.The term Volunteer comes from Tennessee being the Volunteer State and that comes from Tennesseans volunteering for the Army and such.Most notably Davy Crockett and several others going to fight at the Alamo.
