I don't know how old you are, but my oldest daughter is 12 and while I KNOW in my heart she doesn't hate me, there are days I swear she does. With that being said, one of the nicest things she does for me when we're not getting along is to do a chore around the house (or several of them) that she knows I really don't like to do. This is a great thing considering she's the oldest of 4 children and there's always lots to do around my house. And, she makes it a stress free day for me by promising to listen the first time I talk to her and to do what she's asked to do. This makes for a great day...on my birthday or any day.
**By the way, 9 times out of 10 we know you don't hate us, but it can sure feel that way. Moms have all the feelings and emotions that you do and sometimes when we are treated without respect and without some appreciation, it can really hurt. I don't know what's going on between the two of you, but just remember how much moms love their daughters and don't stop telling her how you feel about her and then SHOW her...don't just say it. She will be very thankful that you tried so hard. :)**

Write..not on a computer...her a letter letting you know you appreciate all the things she's done for you in your life. Be specific. When she reads it, go to her, hold her and tell her you love her.

It's a little late to start this, but you could start working on a scrapbook of your family for mothers day. You could put in lots of pictures of fun you and her had together. I did this for my moms 50th and she cried....she never cries.....it was awsome :)
