I could buy 4 ps2s for the money that I'd spend on a ps3. It's 25% of the price! -there is still a huge market that doesn't want to commit to a 600 dollar video game system- and the graphics, as of last month, were still incredible.
Plus, when you think about it, this christmas season was a video game season, that stirred a lot of interest in games, so a lot of people, many who maybe looking for a 'first' system, saw the ps2 as a perfect starter into gaming world- likewise, Nintendo sold a lot of game cubes because it's a small investment compared to the other systems, and the games they buy will remain compatible with the new systems- something xbox failed in all practical ways, to do.

None for the PS2 or the PS3. Get some console from Nintendo.

price and graphics. True, the PS3 is backward compatible, but if you actually play a PS2 game on it, it really looks crappy compared to the same content when played on a PS2.

reasonable quality graphics, good games, small price tag, but if u wanna get one now, you better hurry cause once PS3 starts mass production, PS2 will be a thing in the past
