In this state it is mandatory for 12 hours, and usually first offense conviction requires three months jail term, although that is usually imposed only if someone violates the terms of the probation. I have never, and will never, drink more than just a little, and drive. Two people from my high school were killed by a drunk driver.

Yes you would. Your vehicle will be impounded, you would be processed, fingerprinted, picture taken, report done, and thrown in jail with some huge fat man named BUBBA and he's going to think you are pretty. You would be able to get out as soon as you can make bail or go before a judge. If it's your first offense then most likely the cops will let you out that night. If you have a record of any kind they will keep you in. When you go to court you don't actually go, they have you sit in front of a camera where a courtroom and judge can see you.

You will be in jail garments and chained. Bail is up to the judge. Could be anywhere from $500 to $100,000 depending on whether you hit someone and depending on your record. If there are other warrants out on you that will show up. Cost to get your car out is $70 court fee, $300-500 tow fee, and $300 for impound fee. Once it is impounded they have the right to search your vehicle without your permission.

If another vehicle or building was hit you can be charged with felony drinking and driving. If kids are in the car they will be put in children services' custody. If there is a sober person in the car with you, you can be charged with indangering their life.

So have a designated driver and go party. That's a lot better than owing $20,000 on average for a DUII. Oh yes and the courts will make you go to treatment. If it's your first offense you can get diversion while doing treatment which means you can get it off your record.

Depends on the state and how many times you have been charged and convicted on that same offense. If it is your first offense, then they usually only give you a fine, suspended jail time and suspend your DL for 1 year. That should be the least of your worries! Driving under the influence of anything is dangerous all together! You could kill others or yourself. It is just not worth it. Don't ruin your life or other innocent peoples life.

YES, always

At least for the night until their is arraignment when the judge sets bail and sets the time for your court appearance. Few judges work late at night so you can be pretty sure you will spend the night in the drunk tank. If you can't raise bail then you will be stuck in jail until the date of your court appearance.

Yep. And your license gets revoked too (here anyway, Alberta Canada), with a hefty fine *thousands of dollars* and bye bye car!
When you do get your license back, guess what happens to your insurance... through the ROOF! That is, if your company didnt drop you...
Zero tolerance, with good reason. Whats the ad they have... oh yeah.

What are you willing to lose?

in oklahoma youll get about 9 or 10 days in jail for it, if you dont bond out which costs about 150 dollars, and if you bond out you still have to pay the fine, if you just do the 9 or 10 days you aint gotta pay anything

Most likely...Depends on how drunk I am. If drunk enough I would either cuss out the officer or hit on him. Both landing me in the slammer. lol

Just so you know....I have never and will never drive under the influence. I'm smarter than that. Even while drinking.

You would go to jail if you got stopped and were over the legal limit in alcohol percentage.
