Soooo many people want to claim and blame it on global warming and nobody can prove that.

This is an el nino weather pattern that periodically occurs and creates mild winters in the eastern US. It is nothing new. Watch the weather channel and pay attention when they mention the jet stream which drives the location of Canadian air as it comes out of Canada.

If someone can prove how a 0.7 or so degree rise can change the weather in MA by 15-25 degrees, I'd like to see the data. Ask the people in the northwest and Colorado if this is a warm winter.

El Nino usually provide warmer weather in the northeast, midwest, and Canada. El Nino typically occur every 2 to 7 years for the past 300 years.

However, since 1991, we had 10 "El Nino" years (if you include 2007) so it appears to be occuring more frequently now.

The entire north east is not getting any snow. It is probably the global warming caused by the natural cycles of the earth.

I wish I knew because I live in Boston as well but I'm not complaining. I don't like the snow anyway.

El nino last occured in 1997-98 and 2001-02, so it isn't occuring more often.
