My friend, whom I have no problem with has asked if my 2yr. old daughter would be in her wedding. My only regret is that her family has spread rumors about me being a drug user, and I don't want my children to associate with her family if they are going to talk rudely about me. I don't think it will be fair to my friend to not let my daughter be in her wedding. How would you address this delema?

perhaps whilst telling your friend you agree that your daughter can take part in her wedding you raise the issue say something like i have no problem with my daughter blah blah then something like but there is this one thing on my mind... i'd appreciate it if you would talk to your family about... or perhaps you'd like to talk to the people directly
either way honesty is the key you need to resolve the issue =) hope all goes well

I would say nothing to the family...I would allow your daughter to be in your friends wedding...While there just smile at these folk and you dont even have to talk to them...This is for your friend F*** them and what they think of you....

First of all a two year old doesn't make a good flower girl and that's what you should tell your friend.

I would think her for thinking of your daughter but I would say no thank you.

Why put yourself and your daughter through that?

If it wasn't your friend that did this to you, I don't think she should suffer for it. It would be a different thing if her whole family was asking you a favor but it's something that has to do with just her.
