If you are looking for sizable cities, Atlanta is probably a good bet. Plenty of jobs and housing is still affordable in many areas. Not sure of your price range for apartments - but try Cobb county. Decent areas and schools

i have lived in South Carolina (about an hour from Savannah) or maybe as Savannah is a huge city with plenty to do, it really is about the in consumer-friendly words city with some thing to do and after living there awhile, there slowly will grow to be extremely no longer some thing to do except perchance save or visit the sea coast. i think South Carolina also has the numerous worst colleges. I stay in Florida as we communicate and, like you i'm from the Midwest, and that i love the elements. it really is ideal. in spite of the undeniable fact that, hurricanes project me more effective probable than they project the locals who've dealt with them their total lives. also, as we communicate, there are infrequently any jobs in Florida once you're searching to flow quickly. I also paradoxically lived in Texas, yet i do not keep in options some thing about it except that it would want to be an prolonged rigidity for you maximum probably than the different states. i wager my vote is for North Carolina, in spite of the undeniable fact that, you'll nonetheless get the numerous seasonal winters, yet believe me, when you flow away, you'll omit seeing the leaves change and also you may omit the snow.

I lived near Greensboro for about 13 months. If you don't mind driving a little ways living in a small town just outside of a big city will save at least a couple hundred a month in rent. Greensboro has a lot of jobs in customer service and medical.

I suggest you try to move to north carolina rather than south carolina. i made a huge mistake and moved frolm nc to sc. there is an ambience that i cannot explain about this place. read the history of this state. charleston was the no. 1 entry point for slaves from africa. charleston sc or savannah ga would be okahy. otherwise trhy and move to asheville, nc. asheville is beautiful but it might depend on your job or something. lol
