Yes you can bring your pets into Petsmart. They actually encourage this and have a welcome sign for pets and their owners.

They want you to have them on a lease and if an "accident" happens in the store they have things around to help clean it up. Nothing to be embarrassed about either. I like to clean up my doggies accidents myself but the employees are well trained in doing that. LOL

If you don't have a leash yet, you can carry your pet inside with you. They just don't like them running willy nilly all over the store, creates too much chaos plus it's not too safe for your pet either.

Have fun shopping with your puppy!!

Yes you can. I took my dog once just because they say you can. But it really was a bad experience for him because of course other dogs are there as well. Leashed or not, animals will be curious of each other and fights can/will/do happen.

I guess the idea is to enjoy Petsmart 'with' your pet, but I don't feel it safe for my "Eddie Spaghetti" being he is a 1 pound scooby snack for the bigger dogs.

Maybe take your new pup if you want to, but I would hold him and just offer him different toys to choose from.

Yes you can but DO NOT take a puppy into a pet store or a place where other unknown dogs have been. I am a rescue volunteer and many people come back with sick pups after visiting there. Other people bring in their dogs and they can be sick and thus your dog can pick it up. I would wait until your dog has all of its puppy shots which will be aroung 16 weeks. I would still wait for a couple of months to let the dogs immunity build up.

Most of the time pets are allowed inside big stores like that, but they need to be on a leash, and you should probably make sure before you take your pup over.

Absolutely sweetie! We are all about the pet with their people!!! Only two things that have to be followed for the benefit of all! Your pet must wear a leash and they can not be aggressive as far as maybe biting a person or attacking another animal! We love to see all our friends bring in their people! Good luck with your puppy and give it lots of love!!!!!

Yes, my pit pup loves to go to Petsmart. Most pet stores allow pets to come in.

I'm pretty sure that all Petsmarts allow pets inside. Both of the Petsmarts in my area allow it, and even have doggy doo stations to clean up your dogs mess if it decides its time for a bathroom break in the middle of the store.

I take my dogs in all the time and they love it. I would recommend, however, that you not take your puppy in until its had its shots. Exposure to other dogs could mean sickness if the puppy is too young or hasn't had its shots.

Yes they can, but vets DO NOT recommend it unless your dog has had all 3 sets of its puppy shots!! Because petco does allow dogs to come in at all ages, and the dogs have accidents in the stores, you have no way of knowing if one of those pups were carrying parvovirus or any other fecal transmitted virus! So PLEASE dont until your pup is up to date on all 3 parvo shots!

Yes you can bring animals inside Petsmart; however, you want to make sure your dog is up to date on all vaccinations and his health is in good conditions. Other people may bring their dog into the store and you don't know what condition (health wise) or vaccinations their dog/puppy has. Puppies are vunderable to illness so, just to be on the safe side.

I know when I got my puppy (she was 4 months old and up to date on all vaccinations) and brought her to a petstore, although she was up to date on all vaccinations and healthy I still carried her around a lot and kept her away from other dogs just in case. Good Luck.

Yes you can bring them in . I always bring my dogs in and they get so excited to pick out their own treats. They also get so excited they try to move there legs so fast but the floor is polished so all they do it stay in one place. Its so funny. They let you bring in pets on a leash in my area, but I would call or check the web site to make sure its allowed at the store you are going to. Oh yeah you can also try the doggy close on them too. I love to dress up my pit bull. also try Pet Co.
