their friendship is at 100 but they wont fall in love... i try by talking all the time but it wont work.

As in life it is all about perseverance...meeting, talking, flirting, dating, kissing, woohooing (not always in that order, but you get the picture!).
It takes time for your sims to fall for each other and you just have to keep working at it.

there friendship may be at 100 but is the lifetime relationship high
life time relationship is the bar under friendship that goes up very slowly. If there friendship is so high you can do some flirting then hugging and then kissing to make the life time relationship go up a little quicker.

the best scenario for your sims to fall in love is for them to have 3 of those lightening bolts next to their names...that is the chemistry..it will show you wether they are attracted to eachother or not.

You have to have them flirt and stuff, also if they can, have them kiss. As long as they do things like Talk, Friendly hug, and anything that is basically non-sexual, then they will stay friends. Also if it is an Adult on Teenager relationship, it will stay friendly. If they are related, they will stay friends, and other such things.
