It's because they are appallingly ignorant of what Liberals have accomplished for this nation.
We had to fight conservatives to get women the rightto vote.
We had to fight conservatives to get food safety laws.
We had to fiight conservives to ban child labor.
And so on, and so on.
Liberalism has done so well, and become part of our society people don'teven notice.
If you go out for lunh tomw, thank a Liberal that restaurant was inspected, and has no vermin in the kitchen.

I don't know that Americans are anti liberal. Some are, of course, and many of them get on here and bash us. Many of them also talk on here as if they don't know their A** from, a hole in the ground. And the media is also biased against Liberals, but conservatives are always spouting off about the Liberal media. However, I see a lot of really good people on here, too! They really care, and they give really good answers. So I really think that we are gaining ground, and there is hope! Much more hope than I have felt in the last 6 years! God bless all the Liberal Progressives of this world. Lets keep speaking out and keep up the good fight. We are fighting for our very lives!***

Captain moe... really?
.. funny the last Liberal that was president ...was actually voted in for two terms.. decisively and legitimately... and if you can recall... was a much better leader. We don't need to hear about his sex life, he was a much more effective individual than the current.
I don't think Americans are anti liberal. Your definition is correct and the reality is that a vast majority of Americans ( Unites states ) are very liberal in their thinking.
The media is ant-Liberal giving the impression that there is a national hostility.

the american Communist occasion voted for bill Clinton O.J Simpson will vote for Hillary Liberals talked approximately as an American widespread Hero a traitor because of the fact he informed them something they did not prefer to pay attention. Liberal Demos, like Hillary, Kerry. Gore and so on. voted for the conflict and later denied it. Liberals have carried out each thing to inspire and embolden the enemy ensuing in God purely is elementary with how many deaths. Liberal Politicians have reported loudly "The conflict Is lost"! it fairly is the final element our troops prefer to pay attention. Liberals in Politics look to easily prefer to get reelected on the cost of the country. They teach it time and time lower back. team spirit of our us of a at time of conflict might desire to come until now getting elected. That makes them Un-Patriotic.

They're really not. I'm here, on this website & I have plenty of
liberal friends here. We're just not the type to bother to answer
abusing & rediculous liberal bashing questions.
We would rather check out Q&A's with substance & really
don't like seeing our beautiful country divided.
I don't think some of the conserves here realize the damage
they're doing by bashing other Americans.
Hang in there, there are many of us who totally agree with you.
I have 2 corrections for Captain Moe - first, it's Jon Stewart,
2and - when President Clinton (democrat) left office after
8 yrs., this country had a surplus, unlike the $1.75 trillion debt
created by Bush & co.

One of the few areas where expenses in the USA have been reduced for decades is education. While expense in weapons has risen astronomically, expense in education has not even kept up with inflation.
Liberalism does require education. Thus, the less good quality advanced education is available, the more a nation moves toward Conservatism: preserving what they have.
Moving forwards socially requires for people to be educated. Fearing change does not.

Broadly speaking, liberals will define "individual rights" in whatever way they want to, not in the way conservatives want to.
For example, I believe that minimum wage laws are economically foolish and that they are inevitably going to cause more inflation or more unemployment or both. And I believe that it violates an individual's right to earn money at whatever amount he or she is willing to work for. In the early 20th century, the Supreme Court struck down minimum wage laws 4 times, and the last time they struck down that kind of law they "broadly" declared that all minimum wage laws are unconstitutional no matter how those laws are designed, because no level of government has any business dictating what everybody's minimum needs are and mandating that all employers must provide for everybody's minimum needs.
The liberals of the early 20th century HATED those rulings and they cheered when the Court reversed its ruling! I doubt that the ACLU is eager to re-vitalize that kind of constitutional doctrine!
And equality? I could just as easily argue against minimum wage laws and base it on "equality"! After all, employers are people too, and they also have minimum economic needs. Their needs are fulfilled by the employees' productivity. But government does not have a "minimum productivity" law, requiring that employees work at a sufficiently diligent pace that they earn the minimum wage. So, therefore, employers are not getting "the equal protection of the laws." The law only protects the economic rights of the employees and not the employers. That is not equality.
I will never respect the way liberals define "individual rights" because it is always just sophistry.

When is the last time you heard a liberal defend your right to keep and bear arms? It is not only in the Bill of Rights, self defense is the right of all people. Liberals think only "special" people (like them) should be armed.
