yes, just take your time.
i have to warn you, that once you decide to do it, you're going to need to keep shaving it, as the itch is unbearable if you don't keep up with it.

If it is your first time, and you have a mini jungle down there, it will be good to trim the area first as much as you can (please be carefull, you don't want any chunks off!).
Once you have cleared out the excess of hair, proceed with the shaving by using either baby oil, shaving cream (small amount) or cream rinse. Try to avoid using regular soap as it might itch/burn the first few times.
Continue by holding up your testicles in a way that the scrotum is pulling so you get a better surface of contact with the blade. Slowly start shaving in the direction of the hair growth, to avoid any ingrown hairs in the near future. Generally from the Perineum (right between anus and testicles) towards the front, and from the base of the penis downwards.
Keep on doing the same through out the whole perimeter of the scrotum, making sure that the skin is pulled tight. don't push too hard on the gonads as it will hurt. Really.
Now, if you are not sure about shaving, but still want clean, soft and hairless balls you can use Nair cream for men, just apply it and leave it for about 8 minutes, then wipe off with a wet washcloth.
Make sure this is what you really want, because it will need dedication, according to how fast you pubic hair grows. It will itch at the beginning, but if you are sexually active, the rewards will be priceless.

Use Nair , test a small area and see how long it takes to remove the hair. Do not leave it on long just a few Min's then wipe with a wet cloth. After you remove all the hair , wash well and then put some Vaseline on the area , it helps with the redness that appears for a while. Nair works well if your skin can handle it. Test first!

Just soap up with shampoo in the shower and use a shaving razor. Have to pull the testicles around a bit to get all the hair. Some chicks really dig it, so do what you want. If you itch, just use baby powder or aloe.

My ex would do it..I liked it. He would sit on the toilet in front of a mirror, spread his legs and pull his scrotum upward and then shave. He never got nicked. You can use baby oil so you can see what you're doing.(he shaved with just water.)

I have been shaving everything down there for 20 years and I have never had a problem. You just have to learn how to do it and yes, the girls just love it.

if you don't want to shave and deal with having to continue doing that, you can trim the area very close.

you shouldnt shave them...too risky to mess with your future...plus the extra sensitivity on the skin you can easily do without...man you'll be itching like mad...you'd have to go to the beach and into the ocean to sooth those boys....acohol will burn and how are u planning to keep the skin from gettin infected....THINK before u act
