How do I go about getting the nerve up to asking for every sat or every other sat off? I was busy on Saturdays when the Service Dept was open but they are not open as a month ago just the sales guys we live in a small town so On Sat there like no businees except for calls for the service dept.I Don't mind working Sat in the winter but summer time is coming up and we go camping on the weekends.

I have nt called of any days or been late and I do a good job at work.

Well it's best to tell him now that you'd like the Saturdays off for camping during the summer. If you ask for a lot of other days off though, don't expect a yes. Try and convince him why it would benefit their company more if you didn't work on Saturday, all they care about is money.
Then yeah, they should hopefully let you.
