the answer would be:

area = L x W right?

but since the width = 2 times the length..

Area = a x 2s

Area = 2a^2

So take the length a and multiply it by itself and then double it... and that's the answer in SQUARE "whatevers"

Like square feet, yards, miles.

area rectangle is length * width

A*2A=2A^2

if A=150000

then the answer is 2(150000)(150000)acres^2
