Well at first I thought it was my period but its been way to light for that, its heavey spotting but too light for period and for about the yr that ive been taking it I dont start my period until the green pills but this spotting started when I was in the middle of taking the light blue. There are about 2 or 3 of the light blue left so i will soon find out if my flow gets heavier. I have to get a physical exam somtime this week ne way so im going to ask the doc about it too. but as for now is this normal or should I be worried?

It's not terribly uncommon to spot from birth control pills. It is, however, somewhat less common for the spotting to continue as long as it has for you.

It's a VERY common side effect when adjusting to HBC, but since your spotting has extended past the 3 month adjustment period, it may mean that this particular pill is not a good match for your body. Provided you're taking it correctly, it's still protecting you from pregnancy; it's just not working to regulate your cycles as well as it should. If you talk to your doctor about it, it's possible that he'll advise switching to a different pill formulation, maybe one with more progesterone.
